One of Bicycle Victoria's pinnacle annual events is Around the Bay in a Day, where cyclists can literally ride around Port Phillip Bay in a day. To launch the event this year, Bicycle Victoria staged a cocktail party at Subaru Docklands (Subaru is a strategic partner for Around the Bay in a Day). With the city as a spectacular backdrop, the launch was staged on the first floor of Subaru's flagship dealership, with a catwalk providing the focal point for models to reveal the official riding jersey for this year's event.
Hosted by cycling legend Rob Crowe, the event saw some great prizes given away and there was some fabulous cuisine on offer too – thanks to the hotel-like hospitality from Subaru Docklands. The event gave a great insight into the upcoming Around the Bay in a Day event, with many people committing to riding the event for the first time.
